These are the usual requirements for bank and koperasi salary deduction financing. Final approval, rate, tenure, and payout still depend on the selected financier.

Who Can Apply

  • Malaysian citizen, usually aged 20 to 59 years old.
  • Civil servant under Federal, State, selected government agencies, or selected GLC employers.
  • Permanent employment with at least 3 to 6 months of service, depending on financier.
  • Minimum gross monthly income from RM 1,500 including fixed allowances.
  • Not bankrupt and able to afford the monthly repayment.
  • High commitments, CCRIS, CTOS, or AKPK can still be considered for selected koperasi options.

Documents To Prepare

  • NRIC copy, front and back.
  • Latest 3 months certified payslips.
  • Bank statement showing salary crediting.
  • Employment confirmation letter, staff card, or government service proof.
  • Any settlement letter if you are consolidating or overlapping an existing loan.

Choose Bank Financing If

You want lower rates and higher payout.

  • You have a clean or manageable credit record.
  • Your debt commitments are low enough for bank approval.
  • You want high payout, sometimes up to 98% to 100% depending on bank.
  • You are planning debt consolidation or want a lower monthly commitment.

Choose Koperasi If

You need more flexible approval criteria.

  • You have CCRIS, CTOS, AKPK, or special attention records.
  • Your external commitments are high.
